You don't always have to comply to this idea, however.Īlways prioritize cleaning the columns up before using cards from the draw pile. From the Threes onward, you may want to hold back on moving cards to the foundation in case you have to place a lower-numbered card on top of them. When you have all four Aces in the foundation, you should consider it "completely safe" to move all Two cards to the foundation as well, and when the Twos are in place, the Threes are safe to move, and so on.

However, some stacks of cards in one column can be moved to another if you add the cards in the second column to the foundations. Aces are second priority, since you don't necessarily have to remove cards from the draw pile and field to solve the deck. Moving Kings to empty columns takes top priority, as they can only be moved to one of these and will block unflipped cards until they're cleared. Start by consolidating the current cards on the field onto stacks as well as you can, and make as many moves as you can to clean them up before you have to resort to drawing more cards. General: Your first goal is to flip all of the cards in the columns. A time bonus is also included when a game ends. Each card moved to the foundation rewards 10 points, so if you finish a game, you'll earn 520 points this way.

You receive 5 points for a card that reaches a column, including Aces if you're playing a challenge that wants you to earn a high score, see if you can manually move an Ace on top of a 2 before you move it to the foundation. Please see the below achievement Ice Castle for an achievement related to solving decks.

You can do this automatically by hitting the Solve button that appears where the waste pile once was. When all column cards have been flipped and the draw pile has been depleted, you should be able to complete the game by moving all cards to the foundation. As such, Draw 1 games are much easier to complete. Since the use of earlier drawn cards influences the position of the rest of the draw pile, using only one card may have a significant impact on the final results of your game. Under Draw 3 rules, you only have access to approximately 1/3 of the draw pile cards at a given time, as you cannot use the cards underneath the topmost waste card. Under Draw 1 rules, you will have access to all cards in the draw pile it's only a matter of flipping to the right one. You can flip the waste pile over when you reach the end of the draw pile to start anew with the remaining draw pile cards. Unused cards move to the waste pile waste cards can still be used, but the two piles have different names to differentiate them. Use the draw pile to bring more cards out so you can use them in the field. The draw pile should be on the upper edge of your screen, opposite the foundations.
